FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Where can I find my rent payment and lease details?

Your online portal gives you 24/7 access to pay rent, submit maintenance requests and more. To set up your portal, click the Resources tab and then, Resident Portal.

  • What happens if I miss a rent payment?

We understand that mistakes happen from time-to-time and we're happy to waive the late fee on your first missed payment. Never miss a payment when you set up auto-pay from your resident portal.

Any rent payments not made by the third of each month are subject to a $50 late fee. If your rent is unpaid by the 10th, a $25 fee will be added, with an additional $25 fee on the 15th if still unpaid.

  • I want a furry friend! What steps do I need to take?

We love pets! Before you get a pet, you will need to obtain renter's insurance (if you don't already have it). Contact the rental office to add your cat or dog to your lease agreement. Monthly pet rent and a pet fee will be added to your monthly rent amount. Getting a dog? Our rental office will be happy to set up a time to get your dog's DNA swabbed for our PooPrints system, a requirement at Uptown & Main.

  • How do I submit a maintenance request?

Login to your online resident portal. On the right hand of the screen is the Request Maintenance option. In the case of an emergency, please contact the rental office.

  • Who do I call if I am locked out of my apartment?

Contact the rental office. If you are calling after business hours, follow the telephone prompts and you will be directed to one of our on-call team members who will be able to assist you.

  • Can I mount a TV or other decorations?

Yes! We're excited for you to move in and personalize your space. If you create holes in the wall, please do not fix them before moving out. Our team of professionals will repair the wall to make the space move-in ready for the next resident for a small fee.

  • Can I smoke at my apartment?

Uptown & Main is smoke-free! Please remain at least 30 feet from the exterior of the building when smoking.

  • What if I plan to move?

We would love for you to stay, but if you must go, please submit your move-out notice in your resident portal or in writing no later than two calendar months prior to your lease-end date.
